Empathy Is The Most Important (please comment)
Empathy is important for our society because it is what facilitates our interactions and our connections to the other people around us. Empathy is a foundation for building a thriving and supportive community. Why is it important for individuals to feel empathy? Because without that sense of connection, with out that ability to consider other peoples views or feelings (or place ourselves in other peoples situations) we'd all essentially have anti-social personality disorder (granted at that point it would be normal and not a disorder). Having empathy is not necessarily always giving in to the communal good and completely negating personal goals, dreams, feelings, or gains. More it plays out in the consideration of other people when making decisions. Empathy is a very common and serious case and that's why I think its the most important.

I have a soft spot for the character trait "empathy" myself, Waleed. Good choice. Just think, if teachers didn't have empathy, what reason would they have for letting you submit your work late? :) Understanding how others feel, putting yourself in their shoes, is the first step to several of the TDSBs character traits ("kindness and caring" comes immediately to mind). Good work!
