Perseverance is very important to me, and apparently, it actually works.
If you put your mind to it, you can do it. How many of you guys have been ever told that and believed it? If you want to do it, go ahead, but even if you have the slightest doubt, something can go wrong. If anyone gets in your way and tells you that you cant do it, and have been told you're a failure, imagine their position. What have they accomplished? How do they know the feeling of success? They are just a bunch of hypocrites who haven't done anything with their life, and have been wasting their time watching TV, or following someone else's words. The thing is, if you want something, you have to work to get it and do this probably every day to get there.
This is basically what I learn from the animes and mangas I watch. XD

I do believe that you learned it from anime, but I also believe that anime have a lot of backstabbing :P
